RAYMONDVILLE Funeral services for 77 year old Betty M. Malone, of 8708 St. Highway 56, Raymondville, will be held Monday at 10 am at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Andrew Amyot, pastor, presiding. Burial will take place in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Norfolk. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mrs. Malone passed away Wednesday afternoon.
Betty is survived by her sons, Howard Joe Malone and his companion Marie Deon, Raymondville, David Malone and his companion Trish Muro, New Jersey, George and Karin Malone, Norfolk; her daughters, Marie Baldridge and her companion Rolland Jandrew, Norfolk, Cindy Murphy and her companion Dennis Blumer, Massena and Rose and Kenneth Bickford, Winthrop. She has seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren. Betty is also survived by her brothers Benjamin McGregor, Seattle, Washington; Joseph McGregor of Nichoville and her sisters Ella Mae Smith and Mary White, both of Potsdam. She was predeceased by her husband and her daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and Ernest LaComb and an infant brother Elmer.
Born in Massena on August 25, 1932 to the late Douglas J. and Marie R. Thiebault McGregor, she married Howard Malone on October 23, 1950. He passed away on January 29, 1997. She was a homemaker and also was an Avon representative for 33 years. She was a member of TOPS in Norfolk and was a member of the Norfolk American Legion Auxiliary and colorguard member. She enjoyed family cookouts and helping other people out. Memorial Donations can be made to the Norfolk American Legion Aux. or to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
