RAYMONDVILLE– Graveside services for 66 year old Mary H. Rood, of 8522 Route 56, Norfolk, will be held Thursday at 11 am at Riverside Cemetery, Norwood, with Rev. Andrew Amyot and Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow presiding. There will be no calling hours. Mrs. Rood passed away Tuesday morning at her home. Mary is survived by her daughters Robyn and John Monroe, Norfolk and Johnna and Andrew Rusello, Colorado Springs, Colorado; her five grandchildren Tobee and Mindy Rood, Tamee Rood, Christopher Rusello, Brandon Rusello and Willie Rusello; her two Great-grandchildren, Michael Planty and Monique Rood; her brothers, Donald and Theresa Walker, Norwood and Charles and Roberta Walker, Sun City Center, Fl.. She was pre-deceased by her husband William on August 14, 2009, a son William and her brothers John and Richard Walker. Born on June 15, 1943 in Norfolk to John and Frances Spencer Walker, she married William Rood on December 24, 1971. She was a homemaker and was the proprietor of the former Birds Galore in Norwood. Memorial Donations can be made to the Norfolk Fire Department or Rescue Squad or to St. Raymonds Church or to the Altar and Rosary Society. The Buck Funeral Home is serving the family of Mary Rood.
