OTSDAM - Memorial services for 75 year old Grace H. McCargar, of 1024 Mayfield Drive, Potsdam; will be held Friday at 1PM at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Ed Sachs officiating.Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Norfolk.There will be no calling hours. Mrs. McCargar died August 27,2009 in Potsdam.
Surviving are two sons;Stephen and his wife Carlene McCargar of Potsdam,Scott McCargar and his companion Bobbi Jo Lauber of Norfolk; two daughters; Brenda and her husband Roger Currier of Potsdam and Paula McCargar of Norwood. She is also suvived by seven grandchildren;Shannon McCargar,Stephen McCargar,Shawn McCargar,Shane McCargar,Stephanie Snell,Nicole Wilson, and Amber McCargar;one brother;Glenn and his wife Holly Jones of Tennessee. She was pre-deceased by a brother Leon L. Jones.
Born in Potsdam on August 31, 1933; daughter of Leon and Flora Belle Talcott Jones, she married Clarence R. McCargar on January 4, 1951. He died on June 27, 2005.She was employed in food service at Clarkson University for 37 years retiring in 2001.Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.buckfuneralhome.com
