COLTON Funeral services for 52 year old Frank L. Lenney, 139 County Route 58, Colton, will be held Friday at 11 am at St. Patricks Church in Colton with Rev. Donald Manfred presiding. Burial will take place in St. Patricks Cemetery, Colton. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
Frank is survived by his two sisters, Patricia and David Holland, Latham; and Nancy and Dean Lindeman, Rockford, Ill.; nieces and nephews, John and Julia Holland, Eric and Stephanie Lindeman, Tricia and Katy Lindeman. He was a loving brother and uncle to his extended family.
Born in Potsdam on April 20, 1957 to the late Lawrence and Judy Sullivan Lenney, he worked for the NYS Department of Corrections as a Recreation Program Leader for 23 years, working at the Clinton, Riverview, Upstate facilities. He was a member of the Birch Brook Hunting Club, and past member of the Colton Fire Department, where he served as a EMT and Captain. He was an avid Clarkson Hockey fan and enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He loved spending time on Rainbow Falls at camp. He enjoyed attending all types of sporting events, especially ones that family members were participating in. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
