Obituary of Alberta Chase Mundell

POTSDAM - Funeral services for 81 year old Alberta Chase Mundell, of 20 Grove Street in Potsdam, will be held Saturday at 2 PM at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton with Rev. Joanna Ramsey, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Potsdam, officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Mound Cemetery in Colton. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton Friday from 2-4 and 7-9. Mrs. Mundell died Thursday at the Canton Potsdam Hospital. Surviving is her mother Bernice Murray of Barre,VT; 1 son and his wife, Lester and Cherryl Chase of Colton; 2 Grandchildren, William and Jennifer Chase; 5 Great - Grandchildren; 1 Sister, Elaine Haggett and her husband Sonny of Barre, VT. and a brother Robert Chamberlain of Vermont. Born in Northfield, Vt; daughter of Burton and Bernice Bailey Chamberlain; she married Berton Chase who pre-deceased her. She later married Rev. William Mundell in March, 2001. He died May 11, 2003. She was a substitute Librarian at the Hepburn Library in Colton for many years.She was a member of the Colton Senior Citizens.
