Norfolk--Graveside services for 90 year old Helen L. Nemo, of 52 River Road, Norfolk, will be held Friday at Hale Cemetery in Norfolk at 1pm with Rev. Harold Wheat, pastor of the Norfolk United Methodist Church officiating. Mrs. Nemo died Saturday at St. Regis Nursing Home, Massena.

Helen is survived by her sons George & Sheila Nemo, Auburn NY; and Stephen & Martha Nemo, Norfolk. Her daughters Sandra & Joseph Molina, Arkansas; Suzanne & Jack Jochum, Norfolk; Shirley Nemo, Norfolk; Elizabeth & Fred Lautenschleger, Florida; and Linda Nemo, Maryland. Her brother Paul Despaw, Massena. She also had several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her fifteen brothers and sisters

Born May 27, 1918 in Norfolk, the daughter of Philo and Bessie Shattuck Despaw, she married George Nemo in 1934 and he died in 1972. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Norfolk Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading the bible, playing cards, and doing puzzles. Memorial Donations can be make to the Norfolk United Methodist Church.
