COLTON Funeral services for 89 year old Roswell P. Fallon, of 207 Cottage Road, Colton, will be held Monday at 10am at Saint Patricks Church with Rev. Raymond Moreau, pastor, presiding. Burial will be held in St. Patricks Cemetery, Colton. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4-7 at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton. Mr. Fallon passed away Wednesday evening at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Mr. Fallon is survived by his daughters Sharon Fallon & her companion Gary Spaeni, Madison Wisc; Nancy& Jim Hanlon, Elkhart Lake Wisc.; Jean Fallon and her companion Austin Overturf, Colton; and Anne & Peter Farrell, Mansfield Mass. His sister Louise Morrow, Ogdensburg. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jennifer Rios, Arianne Gravunder, Joel Hanlon, Mathew Sheehan, Ellie Farrell, and Mike Farrell. His great-grandchildren, Arianna Rios, Alyssa Rios, and Riley Rios, and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother Floyd Fallon, his sisters Esther Lennox, Dorothy Scott, Barbara Miller, and a grandchild Dan Lembke.
Born in Pierrepont on October 28, 1919 to Floyd and Grace Pearl Fallon. He married Margaret "Peg" Healey on August 10, 1946 she died November 8, 2004. He served in the Army Air force. He was a chemical engineer at St. Regis Paper Company in NY and Wisc. and for Bird and Son, Mass. He was a member of St. Patricks Church, and past member of the Stag hunting club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, dancing, gardening, and spending time with his family. Memorial donations can be made to the Colton Rescue Squad.
