NORWOOD– Memorial Services for 86 year old Wilmuth “Tootie” Jarvis, of 39 Spring Street, Norwood, will be held Friday at 10 am at St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow, pastor, presiding. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood. A reception at the Norwood American Legion will be held following the services. Mrs. Jarvis passed away Monday morning at her home. Mrs. Jarvis is survived by a son Thomas and Margie Jarvis of Norwood and a daughter Mrs. Nancy Lashombe of Waco, Texas. She has six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a brother Ted Badger. Born in St. Regis Falls on March 14, 1923 to Floyd and Ida Gilman Badger, she married Donald Jarvis on December 24, 1941. He passed away on October 20, 2002. She worked as a homemaker and for Norwood Hardware for 15 years. She was a member of St. Andrews Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and a 50 year member of the Norwood American Legion Aux. Memorial Donations can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley or to the Potsdam Animal Shelter. Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.buckfuneralhome.com .
