Obituary of Hazel V. Gravelle

Norwood--Graveside services for 89 year old, Hazel V. Gravelle, of 8 Baldwin Acres Norwood, will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Norwood, at a later date with Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow, pastor of St. Andrews Church, Norwood. Mrs. Gravelle died Friday morning at her home. Hazel is survived by her sons, Lawrence Norwood, and Lee & Jeannette Norwood. Her grandchildren Aaron & April Gravelle, Bliss & Jeff Fayette, Jennifer Gravelle, and Kimberly Gravelle & her fiance Kevin Smith and her great-grandchildren Avery Gravelle, Jeremy Fayette, Paige Fayette, and Brooke Fayette. Her several nieces and nephews. She was pre-dedcesed by her brother Walter Goodman and her sisters Lorena Tatro and Eileen Gleason. Born in Malone on May 20, 1919 the daughter of George and Mable Ledger Goodman. She married Robert Lawrence Gravelle on April 14, 1941 he died on April 19, 2000. She was a homemaker and owner of Ambassador Cleaners, Norwood. She was a member of St. Andrews Church, the Altar-Rosary Society, and the Norwood American Legion Auxillary. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Memorial Donations can be made to St. Andrews Church and Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
