Obituary of Jean E. Wilson

CHASE MILLS– Funeral services for 74 year old Jean E. Wilson, of the St. Regis Nursing Home, Massena, and formerly of Chase Mills, will be held Friday at 12 noon at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk with Rev. John Kashorek, pastor of the Massena Church of Christ, presiding. Burial will follow in Bixby cemetery, Norfolk. Calling hours will be held Friday from 10 am until the time of the funeral. Mrs. Wilson passed away early Monday morning at Massena Memorial Hospital. Jean is survived by her four daughters, Monica L. Wilson, Waddington; Linda and Larry Johnston, Churchville, NY; Florence and Kevin Arquitt, Reidsville, NC and Sheila and Rick Fiumara, Central Square. She has eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, a sister Agnes Abernathy, Florence, AL, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her son Vincent B. Wilson, a brother Jack Brown and a sister Hazel Parrish. Born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee on February 6, 1935 to Samuel and Florence Brown, she married Ethan “Bucky” Wilson on May 16, 1956 in Key West, FL. He passed away on August 4, 1999. She was a homemaker. Jean spent her life loving her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and spending her time with her family. The family will miss her huge hugs and wet kisses.
