Obituary of Richard C. Demo

Norfolk--Funeral arrangenments for 69 year old Richard C. Demo, of 7671 State Highway 56, Norwood will be held Friday at 10 am at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Andrew Amyot, pastor, presiding. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Massena. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk. Mr. Demo passed away Sunday morning at Roswell Park, Buffalo. Mr. Demo is survived by his wife Nancy, Norwood. His son Richard C. Jr. and Lori Demo, Massena and his daughters Mrs. Timothy Belinda Quinn, Clearance Center, NY, and Mrs. Terrance Jennifer Tracy Newark, NY. His brothers John and Mary Demo, Brahser Falls, and William and Kathleen Demo, Brahser Falls. Richard had ten grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his brother Thomas. Born in Potsdam on January 24, 1940 to John Sr. and Anna Belle Patel Demo, he married Nancy Jenne on October 22, 1966. He worked for Niagra Mohawk as a Senior Traveling Operator for 30 years retiring in 2002. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963-1965. He was a member of the Church of the Visitation, and the VFW in Brasher Falls.
