Obituary of Marguerite H. Cobb

NORFOLK– Services for 93 year old Marguerite H. Cobb, of the St. Regis Nursing Home and formerly of Norfolk, will be held Tuesday at 6 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4pm until the time of the funeral. A spring burial will be held in the Wylie Cemetery in Bangor. Mrs. Cobb passed away on Thursday evening at the St. Regis Nursing Home. Mrs. Cobb is survived by her husband Charles of the St. Regis Nursing Home, Massena, a son Harry “Jim” and Edith “Jean” Hill of Panaca, Navada. She has ten grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She also has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren on Mr. Cobbs side of the family. She is also survived by a brother Edmund LaRoux, Texas, a sister Florence Moory, Buffalo and her nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Rene’ and sisters Connie Jock and Patricia Smith. Born in Martinstown, Ontario, Canada, on December 23, 1915 to Rene’ and Marie Ladouceur LaRoux. She married Charles D. Cobb on February 22, 1963. She was a housewife and owned and operated Marguerite’s Antique and Gift Shop in Navada.
