HEUVELTON—Funeral services for 94 year old Gordon M. Norman, a resident of the United Helpers Riverledge Campus, Ogdensburg and formerly of 180 Bishop Road, Heuvelton, will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton with Rev. Jay Seymour presiding. Burial will be held in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Colton, following the services. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton on Thursday from 3-5 p.m. Mr. Norman passed away on July 24, 2016 at the Riverledge Campus. Gordon is survived by two sons, Donald and Anne Norman, Heuvelton; Lloyd and Bertha Norman, Circle Pines, Minnesota; eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a brother, Paul Norman, Gun Barrel City, Texas. Gordon was pre-deceased by his wife, A. Delina in May of 2013, a son Eugene Norman; a daughter Geraldine Runions; one grandchild, a brother Walter Norman and his two sisters, Eileen Lynch and Agnes Blackmer. Born in Parishville, NY on May 12, 1922 to the late John and Mabel Laque Norman, Gordon married A. Delina Shatraw on August 8, 1942. He worked for the Newton Falls Paper Mill for 32 years. In his spare time, Gordon enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and working on his hobby farm. He served in the U.S. Army in 1944 for a brief period.
