NORFOLK—Funeral services for 71 year old Lowell H. Todd, a resident of 24 Maple Street, Norfolk, will be held Friday at 12 noon at the Knapp’s Station Community Church with Rev. Lee Sweeney presiding. There will be a luncheon following the service at the Parish Fellowship Hall. Family and friends are invited to call at the Knapp’s Station Church on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon. Lowell passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon with his family at his side. Lowell is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ann, Norfolk; a son, Paul and Robertta Todd, Appomattox, Virginia; his daughter, Michelle White and her companion Greg Crump, Winthrop; his seven grandchildren, Kevin Edwards, Rochelle White, Eyan Todd, Kaila Todd, Zorah Todd, Eliannah Todd and Hadassah Todd; a brother, Phillip and Dorothy Todd, Gold Canyon, AZ and his sister, Linda Todd, Winthrop. Born in Potsdam on December 18, 1944 to the late Herbert and Kathryn Dyke Todd, Lowell graduated from St. Lawrence Central School in 1963. He married Ann M. Dox on September 5, 1970. Lowell worked as a Highway Maintenance Supervisor and a Heavy Equipment Operator for the St. Lawrence County Highway Department for 41 years, retiring in 2001. Lowell had a passion for the outdoors. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, a former member of the Norfolk Rod and Gun Club, a member of the Stoney Brook Hunting Club and loved to spend time at his favorite place, “Teds”. Lowell also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, running equipment and most of all, agitating and giving nicknames to people.
