Obituary of Denise A. Burrows

LISBON-- Funeral services for 49 year old Denise A. Burrows, 25 Lawrence Road, Lisbon, will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Lisbon Wesleyan Church with Rev. Floyd McCallum presiding. Burial will be held in the Riverside Cemetery, Norwood. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mrs. Burrows passed away June 3 at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse. Denise is survived by her husband of 28 years, Scott, Lisbon; a son, John Burrows and his companion Romina Gonzales Rivera, Lisbon; her mother, Eva McDonald, Ogdensburg; three brothers, Robert and Patrice McDonald, Lisbon; David and Charlene McDonald, Colton; Paul and Gladys McDonald, Palm Dale, California; a sister, Janet and Jay Livingston, Lisbon as well as several nieces and nephews. Born in Ogdensburg, NY on October 14, 1965 to Donald and Eva Finley McDonald, Denise married Scott Burrows on July 19, 1986. She was employed by SUNY Canton as a payroll clerk for 17 years and previously worked at the Riverview and Gouverneur Correctional Facility. Denise enjoyed working with children and was very active in the Youth for Christ and the Worship Band at the Wesleyan Church. Denise also enjoyed arts, crafts and reading.
