WADDINGTON—Funeral services for 64 year old Jennifer M. “Jenny” Dailey, 329 River Road, Waddington, and formerly of Norwood, will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the First Congregational Church in Norwood with Pastor Walter Smith presiding. Burial will be held in the Riverside Cemetery, Norwood. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Dailey passed away early Saturday morning at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg. Jenny is survived by her husband of 43 years, William, Waddington; a brother, Vincent and Linda Mellon, Oneida, NY; her two sisters, Pauline “Polly” LePage and Tina Mariano, both of Norwood; her brother-in-laws, Phil and Phyllis Dailey, Ogdensburg, Alan and Diane Dailey, Lisbon; her sister-in-laws, Diane Massia, Ogdensburg, Valarie and Robert Haggett, Norwood and several beloved nieces and nephews. Jenny was pre-deceased by a sister, Judy Shattuck and two brother-in-laws, Joe Mariano and Donald “Pete” LePage. Born in Potsdam, NY on November 16, 1950 to the late Myron and Rita Vincent Mellon, Jenny married William Dailey on August 7, 1971. She worked at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital for 44 years as a Laboratory Technician. Jenny was an outgoing and very generous person, who loved her work and the people she worked with. She was active in the woman’s fellowship with the church’s she attended and was very artistic, enjoying working with crafts and ceramics. Jenny also had a love for gardening, traveling, socializing and attending the activities of her beloved nieces and nephews. Jenny was a member of the First Congregational Church in Norwood and also attended St. Andrew’s Church as well. She also belonged to the Brockville Police Pipe and Drum Band. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Memorial Donations in her memory be made to the Richard E. Winters Cancer Treatment Center in Ogdensburg, Hospice and Palliative Care, Potsdam or to the Congregational Church in Norwood.
