COLTON - Funeral services for Allen J. "Al" Fisher, 82, a resident of 16 Gulf Road, Colton, will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 3 p.m. at the Zion Episcopal Church in Colton with Fr. Gary Parker presiding. Burial will follow the services in the South Colton Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Zion Episcopal Church in Colton on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Al passed away on June 9, 2026 at the Massena Memorial Hospital with family at his side after a brief stay.

Al is survived by his wife of 31 years, Joanne, Colton; his four children, Mark Fisher (Shelby Connelly), Colton; Scott and Sarah Fisher, Ada, MI; Tracy Fisher, Colton and Brandy Fisher-Bailey and her wife Christina Bailey, Duxbury, MA; his five step-children, William Webster, MI; Malcolm and Kelly Webster, Potsdam; Teresa and Brian Gaffney, Watertown; Michael and Melissa Webster, AZ and Jason and Symma Winters, NJ; his 12 beloved grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and 9 step great-grandchildren and two sisters, Sylvia and Art Myers, Cranberry Lake, NY and Lois and Robert Wickwire, Parishville. Al was pre-deceased by his parents, James and Esther.

Born in Potsdam, NY on July 4, 1943 to the late James and Esther Cary Fisher, Al graduated from Colton-Pierrepont Central School, Class of 1961 and later CCBI in accounting. He worked for Niagara Mohawk for five years before becoming general manager and operator of Fisher-Rexford Construction in Colton, retiring after 35 years as project manager. He married Joanne Colbert Winters on March 11, 1995. Al loved the outdoors and in his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and spending time at camp, as he was a member of the Cold Springs and Chapp Hill Hunting Clubs.
