NORWOOD- Graveside services for Helen I. Henderson, 101, a resident of the Massena Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Massena and formerly of Norwood, will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 11 a.m. in the Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk, with Rev. Raymond Moreau presiding. Mrs. Henderson passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at the Massena Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. A memorial mass will be held at a later date.? Helen is survived by her two daughters, Connie Bouchard, Potsdam and Paula O'Brien, Mitchell, IN and her two grandsons, Patrick and Terry O'Brien, also of Indiana. Born in Norfolk, NY on December 3, 1924 to the late Steve and Emma Moroz Gang, she attended school and married Wayne Henderson on February 5, 1943. Wayne passed away on February 25, 2014. Helen, a devoted Christian and homemaker, was a communicant of St. Andrew's Church in Norwood and belonged to several church and senior groups as well as the Farm Bureau Women's Club. Helen was a favorite Aunt of many and enjoyed time with her family and grandchildren. In her younger years, Helen enjoyed sewing and bowling as well.
