NORWOOD - Services for Irene M. Vari, 100, a resident of the North Country Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, Massena and formerly of Norwood, will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 9 a.m. in the Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk. Mrs. Vari passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, May 17, 2026 in Massena. Irene is survived by her son, Eleck Vari Jr., Norwood; her two beloved grandchildren, Eleck J. and Julie Vari III and Lynette Vari and her six great-grandchildren, Chontelle, Brooke, Marissa, Emily, Carter and Grace. Irene was pre-deceased by her parents, husbands Clifford Adams and Eleck Vari Sr., two sons, Clifford Adams and Gary Adams and a daughter, Charlotte Welch.

Born in Brasher Falls, NY on May 19, 2026 to the late Nelson and Lillian Berry LaShomb, Irene attended school and married Clifford Adams. After his passing, she married Eleck J.
