MADRID - A Celebration of Life gathering for Willis P. "Bill" Tromblee, 77, will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at his home at 9 Depot Street, Madrid, NY, starting at 12 noon. Private graveside services will be held in the St. Patrick's Cemetery, Port Henry. Bill passed away on April 22, 2026 in Rochester, NY. Willis is survived by a brother, Peter and Penny Tromblee, Port Henry; four sisters, Katie and Tim Clark, Elizabethtown; Lora Clark, Port Henry; Katrinka Tromblee, Witherbee and Debra Walsh, Port Henry as well as many nieces and nephews and his friends and family with in the SUNMOUNT community and at the Edgewood Drive, Saranac Lake, NY and Depot Street, Madrid, NY houses. Bill was pre-deceased by his parents Willis and Kathryn, a brother Charles and a sister Louise Smith.

Willis was born December 9, 1948, to Willis L. and Kathryn Young Tromblee in Moriah, NY, he grew up in Mineville, NY. Bill enjoyed listening to country music, watching old Western TV shows, playing his guitar, singing, and spending time with his family and friends, especially at family gatherings. He also enjoyed time outdoors gardening. Willis had a wonderful sense of humor, and his smile charmed our hearts and brought happiness to each day. Willis was a kind, happy, and loving man who will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him or caring for him.
