LISBON - Funeral services for Donna J. Purves, 47, a resident of the Lisbon IRA, County Rt. 10, and formerly of Raymondville, will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Emmanuel Congregational Church in Massena with Rev. Judith VanKennen presiding. Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 11 a.m. in the Riverside Cemetery, Norwood. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 2-5 p.m. Donna passed away on April 15, 2026 after a brief stay at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital fighting pneumonia. Donna is survived by her loving mother, MaryJane Purves, a resident of 72 Westwood Drive, Apt. 1, Massena, NY, 13662; her niece, Courtney Purves, Cortland and a step-son, Robert Purves, FL as well as aunts, uncles and cousins and her loving extended family at United Helpers. Donna was pre-deceased by her father Wally and a brother Derrick.

Born in Potsdam, NY on September 22, 1978 to Wallace E. "Wally" and MaryJane Murray Purves, Donna attended school in an Individual Education Program. Although being disabled, Donna lived at home with her family and loved interacting with people. Despite limited communication, she was very social and very much a people person. She loved going to her brother's sporting events and cheering Derrick and the team on. Donna made sure to visit with everyone.
