MASSENA - Sandra Buck Mariano, 81, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at the Good Shepherd Hospice|The Bud and Donna Somers Hospice House in Sebring, Florida, with her family by her side. There will be no calling hours or funeral services per Sandy's wishes. Burial will be held in the Riverside Cemetery, Norwood. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Born on November 22, 1943, in Potsdam, NY to Harold and Elva (Phelps) Buck, Sandy graduated from Potsdam Central School, Class of 1962. She was a devoted homemaker and a passionate and talented sewer who loved to make doll clothes for herself and others. Sandy is survived by her step mother, Barbara Buck, Massena and formerly of Colton; her two sons, Scott and Debbie Mariano, Sebring, FL and Tom and Kim Mariano, North Port, FL; her two sisters, Patricia Pilgermayer, Lansdale, PA and Jill Vann, Plano, Texas; her six beloved grandsons, Ethan and Jenn Mariano, Tory Morrison, Dan Mariano, Nicholas Mariano and Krista Flint, and Tyler Mariano and her great-grandson, Buck Mariano. Sandy is also survived by her three nieces, Aimee and Ben Sheaffer, Melissa and Jon Gangwer, Ashlee Vann and two nephews, Thomas Pilgermayer and Aaron Vann as well as extended family and friends. Besides her parents, Sandy was pre-deceased by her brother-in- law, Tom Pilgermayer and niece Emilee Pilgermayer.
