MADRID - Services for Gilford R. Worster, 80, a resident of 421 Haig Road, Madrid, will be held at a later date. Gilford passed away suddenly Sunday morning, October 12, 2025 at his home. Gilford is survived by his wife Theresa of 40 years, two sons, Michael Worster and Jeffrey Worster of Enfield, CT; two step-sons, Hugo Walpurgis of Troy, NY and Kenneth Walpurgis of Enfield, CT; five beloved grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He will be missed by his brother-in-law's, sister-in-law's and his many nieces and nephews. Gil was pre-deceased by all of his 11 brothers and sisters.

Born in Allagash, ME on December 25, 1944 to the late Herbert and Sarah Hafford Worster, through the years Gil worked in many jobs but loved construction. He built and remodeled residential and commercial sites in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Before retiring, he was an owner/operator truck driver, hauling across our country. After retiring and moving to the North Country of NY, he took great pride in building his own home and designing and building projects around the home.
