GAYLORD, MI - Jennifer Anne Delaney, age 56, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. She was born to Philip and Mary Markert on August 17, 1969, and graduated in 1987 from H.C. Williams Senior High School in Canton, New York. In 1993, she married William Delaney in Tupper Lake, New York.

Jen had a deep passion for her family, music, ministry, and healthy living. She worked as a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling her children while handcrafting and marketing her own skincare brand. She spent her free time singing worship music with friends, sitting by the beach, hiking mountains, and walking her dog Rocky Bear. She was an energetic individual who enjoyed giving long hugs and having transformative conversations that encouraged and empowered those with whom she came in contact. Her biggest goal was to make a lasting impact for Jesus through her children, her time spent in music ministry, and her own interactions.

Jen is survived by her husband, William; her children, Elizabeth, John, Catherine, James, and Sean; as well as her sister, Christiane; her parents, Philip and Mary; and her nieces and nephews. Family, friends, and others who knew and loved Jen are invited to her Celebration of Life at Gaylord Evangelical Free Church, 1649 M-32, Gaylord, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025. This service will be held to recognize and commemorate her legacy. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the South Colton Cemetery, South Colton, NY.
