NORWOOD -- Private services for Leila J. Murray, 92, a resident of the Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown, and formerly of Norwood, will be held in the Union Cemetery in Waddington. Mrs. Murray passed away on May 25, 2025 at the Samaritan Keep Home. Leila is survived by her five daughters, Katie and Chris Murray-Rebello, Cape Cod; Susan and Michael McCullouch, Theresa; Nancy and Perry Gains, Cape Cod; MaryJane Purves, Massena and Kathy Ann Murray and husband, Dana Green, Portland, Oregon. Leila is also survived by several beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Leila was pre-deceased by her parents, her husband Kent, a grandson, Derrick and her siblings Stanley, Wilson, Franklin, Vera, Anna and Joy.

Born in Waddington, NY on October 9, 1932 to the late Homer and Edythe Wilson Salton, she graduated from high school and married Kent S. Murray in 1951. Kent later passed away in 1995.
