Our family knew Dick very well as he and my brother were best friends. Dick was as much my brother to me as my brother Doug was. Their friendship was a wild ride but no matter what happened they remained good friends. It was Dick and Leeanna who first discovered that there was something not quite right with Doug. It was Dick who kept after me to speak to Doug's co-workers and my family. As Doug's disease progressed he became increasingly difficult, but your dad stuck by him. I have always been grateful for that. Your dad left the north country many years ago, throughout the years I have thought of him often. Our family has many pieces of his art as well as many pieces from various artists from his gallery that had Doug purchased as well as my husband and I. I have missed his smile and his presence in our lives. I wish with all my heart that I had a picture to share. My thoughts are with you, I am sorry for your loss.
