PARISHVILLE- A Celebration of life gathering for Melissa A. "Missy" Tucker, 62, a resident of 256 Ashton Road, Potsdam, will be held at a later date to be announced. Missy passed away Saturday evening, February 1, 2025 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with family at her side. Missy is survived by her husband, Peter Tucker, Potsdam; her two daughters, Megan Childers, South Carolina and Shonna Arquiett, Potsdam; her six beloved grandchildren, Kaiden, Makenna, Kamden, Riley, Alayna and Carsyn; her mother, Kathleen and Robert Riggs, Zephyrhills, FL; a brother, Stephen and Carmen Craig, Hermon and a sister, Christine and Matt Conte, Norfolk. Missy was pre-deceased by her father, Arthur Craig.
Born in Gouverneur, NY on May 18, 1962 to Arthur and Kathleen Winters Craig, Missy graduated from Canton Central School, Class of 1981. Missy served in with the U.S. Navy from 1981-1985. Upon returning from the Navy, Missy met and later married Peter Tucker. Missy loved the outdoors and being with family and friends. She loved being around animals, especially horses, and enjoyed her time being a horse trainer. Memorial donations in Missy's memory can be made to a charity of one's choice and memories and condolences may be shared online at www.buckfuneralhome.com .
