Steve, Sue, Vickie and Jerry - Sorry to her of the loss of your Dad...I have to tell you a great story about your Dad. During my time to Save The Fountain at our old grade school, I was up at the school doing whatever I needed to do. Your Dad pulled in on his bike and wanted to make sure there was a brick for your Mom included on our brick walkway at the newly found Fountain Park♥️ He didn’t want to fill any form out or do any online order, so I just took down the info. from him and ordered his brick for his wife...such a nice man, for this gesture and in many other ways I’m sure: my dad, Francis Sharlow, always spoke well of your Dad. His memories are with you forever.

I will greatly miss Jerry. I spent a lot of my youth growing up around him. He was a great friend to my father, Ted and they stuck together through thick and thin. I will always treasure the times we spent at hunting camp each Fall. He was like a second father to me and taught me a lot about being a man and how to handle life's issues with humor and patience. I also took my first motorcycle ride with him when I was very young. That ride inspired me to go on and own motorcycles for most of my adult life. Ann and I are keeping the family in our prayers.

My parents and Laramay’s were great friends.. Our two families spent a lot of time together.. I loved going over there.. There was always a lot of laughter and good times.. Jerry and Doris were a great couple and two very special people.. And always made this little girl feel like one of the family.. As an adult.. I would run into them .. but sadly, not often.. no matter how much time had passed.. I was still greeted like one of the family..
I’m very glad to have the memories I do with Jerry Laramay and his family..

I believe Jerry knew more than most, what it was to ride a motor – maybe the closest thing to having wings of your own. Power, freedom, control, balance and grace. A dance with your own heart unchanged and beautiful. Ride on our friend. Our condolences to family and friends, Michael and Helen Harris.

I am so sorry to read of the passing of your dad. He was the type of man that lit up a room with those sparkling eyes and huge smile. I spent some time with him while bartending at the Hotel and loved to listen to his stories.
He will be greatly missed as a sure staple of your community and family.
Please know I am thinking of you all.
Love,
Cheryl

My sympathy to the family of Jerry Laramay. He was a very special man. I had the special privilege of working with Jerry at the telephone company for 25 years. It was an absolute pleasure working with him. He had a way of getting along with everyone and was respected by everyone. I have missed him since the day he retired and that was along time ago.
My best wishes to the family,
Chuck Eakins
