I met Harriett when I was a cooperating teacher for student teachers from SLU and Harriett was supervising them. I enjoyed working and visiting with her. When I first met a new student teacher I would ask, Who is coming from St. Lawrence to supervise
is it Harriett? I was overjoyed when the answer was yes. She was a very kind, educated, and loving person
she will be missed.

Dear Sue,
We were very much saddened to hear of your mom's passing. I know you were very close and remember you crossing across the backyards to visit her. Sorry we missed your recent skating trip.
It was about 65 years ago that my parents would call Harriett to ask her to come over to babysit the "Cook kids." There just isn't time to send flowers so we will add our support to the "Special Olympics.

Dear Joe and Family: I am so saddened to hear of Harriet's passing. I looked forward to our brief chats whenever she came to Massena High! Always a smile and never a complaint.
She was the mom of Prospect Street as we all grew up. Somehow we all got older, but she never changed!
Always a smile. That is how I will always remember her.
My deepest sympathies to you and the family.

Dear Joe, Sue and family,
We got to know your wife and mother when we were living on Prospect St. and were members of St. Phillips. She was a great lady, to say the least.
