Obituary of Patsy M. Trimboli

NORWOOD—A Mass of Christian Burial for 90 year old Patsy M. Trimboli, a resident of the St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena and formerly of Norwood, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. John Murphy presiding. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Mr. Trimboli passed away early Saturday morning at the St. Regis Nursing Home. Patsy is survived by his two daughters, Donna and Terry Peterson, Norwood; Barbara Porter, Massena; two grandchildren, Don Peterson and his fiancé Danielle Greene and Mindee and Nathan Poland. Patsy is also survived by his six great-grandchildren, Alexis and Briana Peterson, Cash Greene, Levi, Hannah and Isaac Poland as well as several nieces and nephews. Patsy was pre-deceased by his four brothers, Frank, Anthony, Joseph, Ross; his four sisters, Mary Vernatter, Margaret Sylvester, Anna Germano, Lena Payenski; Barbara’s significant other, Quentin Siddon and a grand-daughter, Kimberly Porter. Born in Raymondville, NY on February 18, 1926 to the late Dominic and Rose Trimboli, he attended school and entered the U.S. Navy. He served as a Mid Shipman from 1944-1946, being honorably discharged. He married the late Rose A. Spencer on June 12, 1948. Patsy started working at ALCOA in Massena in 1948 and continued to work for 39 years, retiring in 1987. He worked in the shipping Department and as an inspector in the Merchant Mill. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Church and the Knights of Columbus in Norwood, a member of the ALCOA 25 year club and the Norwood American Legion. Patsy enjoyed fishing and tending to his Roses which he took great pride in. He was a devoted father and grandfather and he always put his family first.
