NORWOOD Memorial services for 94 year old Francis L. Jarvis, of 7408 Stag Horn Drive, Albuquerque, New Mexico, will be held Thursday November 6 at 10 am at St. Andrews Church in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow, pastor, presiding. Mr. Jarvis passed away on October 26 in Albuquerque, NM.
He is survived by his wife Alice in New Mexico and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brothers Bernard, William, and Donald Jarvis and his sisters Anna Schultz, Kathrn Babbitt and Marion Jarvis.
Born in Chateagay, NY on November 30, 1913 to William J. and Eva Sancomb Jarvis, he was a graduate of the Norwood High School, SUNY Oswego, and received a masters degree from Columbus University. He married Alice Kerney. He worked in the Oil business as a manager of the training department. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 - 1947.
